Evolution of a Digital Painting: 'Tillamook Vista'

The following images show six progress shots taken along the way as I created 'Tillamook Vista'. I first created a rough SketchUp model of a home I designed in a style I like to call 'Mountain Prairie Style'. The illustration was then painted digitally with a Wacom tablet in Adobe Photoshop. This home is roughly 3,000 square feet in size, situated in a beautiful mountain locale in the Pacific Northwest.
